Satisfactory achievement on this exam qualifies the graduate for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Successful completion of the program qualifies the graduate to apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). The Associate Degree Nursing (ADN Traditional) curriculum is a 64.5 - 66.5 credit-hour program that leads to an associate in applied science degree and prepares graduates to provide direct nursing care at a beginning staff level in a variety of healthcare settings.
